I went to the Grief Recover Seminar, thinking that I would learn about the technique and process, and maybe find something useful. I thought I’d finished grieving for my Mother’s death long ago. After all, I’d done the grieving procedures suggested by the therapist. I realized as I was learning this procedure that stuff was unfinished. When I finished the process I felt a sense of relief and freedom. At last, I think it’s done.

My experience in the Grief Recovery weekend was the fastest,
most
thorough, effective way I have experienced to expose, process and
release grief I have been carrying since I was a child. I was able to
learn the skills and techniques in the classes, used them and left
feeling very comfortable that I can finish any grief history I have
left when I get home. I feel confident in my skills, the technique
and the connection I made with the others in the group who I know
will be there for me to process remaining and any new grief related
issues with me. You get a whole lot more than I ever expected from
this program and doing the work in a compact group environment was
the perfect way to do it. The support was important and having the
time set aside to do the work was critical."
